I've asked you this question before because inquiring minds desire to know. In fact, one of the largest societal values we hold to right now is authenticity.
Which is funny in the sense that we have rejected the truth.
In John 14:6, Jesus said, "I am the way and the truth and the life."
How can I be authentic but live without truth? Especially if that congruence reveals the sin in my heart.
Most are not, that's how. I don't know about you, but think for a moment if every thought was expressed directly to the person in front of you.
They probably would see us very differently, wouldn't they?
So who are you when no one is looking? It's not just in the things we do, but in our hearts and minds.
